The Procar series was a legendary racing series that brought together the world's best drivers in 1979 and 1980. The series pitted professional drivers from the Formula One World Championship, World Sportscar Championship and European Touring Car Championship using identically modified BMW M1 sports cars. Niki Lauda won the inaugural championship in 1979. In 1980, the series was won by Nelson Piquet.
The very rare PC73 takes its inspiration from the race by uniting the stability and comfort of a shooter aviator with the outstandig look of crystal flash mirror lenses. Heavy and flexible at the same time, it has been holding the pole position for over 30 years and is not about to let it go any time soon. One of the most beautiful Alpina frames ever made.
Frame: Gold doublé with clear brown browbar.
Lens: Original Flash mirror Lense, reflections from red to blue depending on the angle of light.
