Vintage Ray-Ban W1707 Explorer sunglasses from the Olympics Series were produced 1994-1996 to commemorate the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway and the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. The Ray-Ban W1707 commemorative sunglasses are a variation of iconic Ray-Ban Explorer sunglasses, just slightly more elongated and with a subtle wrap design to contour more closely to the face. The unisex Ray-Ban W1707 Explorer frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the Bausch & Lomb G-15 lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 1.675" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the logo Ray-Ban logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and the Olympic rings on the other, and the inside of one ear stem is marked 1994/96 Olympic Games. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 61  15, part of one of the world's finest collections of Olympics memorabilia in Los Angeles, CA.
