Vintage Ray-Ban Changeable Grey Outdoorsman aviator sunglasses are among the rarest of all vintage B&L Ray-Ban frame and lens combinations, but mostly we think you'll agree they look super cool! Decades before there were smart phones there were smart lenses pioneered by Bausch & Lomb, with these Rose Changeables lenses being the most exotic example of a larger group of lenses known as Ray-Ban Changeables with Ambermatics arguably the best known example. Vintage B&L Ray-Ban Changeables photochromatic lenses darken and lighten with varying light conditions, an optical property that is infused into the glass and not a coating that will wear out or wear off. The pearlized General bar of the Outdoorsman improves the balance of the sunglasses on the face, and the "shooter" ear stems curl behind the ears for the most secure fit possible in all conditions. The unisex Ray-Ban Outdoorsman shooter frame measures approximately 135mm temple to temple, and the 58mm Grey Changeables lenses measure approximately 58mm x 50mm at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL at the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 14,
